Job Interview Feedback - International Center

Please write briefly about each candidate you interviewed. Would you hire them for that position? How do their qualifications match the job duties? What are their strengths and weaknesses? Reduce the flattery; focus on constructive criticism when writing about weaknesses.

I interviewed four people.

Ji hye
She was very eager to book keeper position ,frequently emphasizing her economy major. I think her speech was too fast to understand enough.

Jeong se
He wanted to be a webmaster for our organization. But he joked a lot so he need to be littl bit calm.

Ji man
He applied organization director. Overall he answered clearly with smile but he sometimes repeated same phrases.

Song eun
She applied book keeper. she was really confident. One thing that I want to tell her is that be careful not to say 'ah..a...uh..'consciousnessly.

There are four people's feedback that I interviewed.

Jeong-sae:
He is applying for a webmaster, and I want him to do this job. Even though he has no direct work experience related to this job, but he has a great computer skill, because he is dealing a computer a lot in his major department. He is quite good at answering during the interview, but needs a sincere attitude.

Song-eun:
She wants to be a bookkeeper. She is good at mathematics and organizing the money even though she does not have an accounting experience. The thing that I though about her is a good image of her. It makes me easy to trust her. When she speaks, however, she moves the hands a lot. It is good, but sometimes distracting.

Ji-hye:
She is looking for a bookkeeper position, too. She has a financial background on calculating as she is majoring in Economics. She has an accounting experience, so she knows well how to handle the money. She is a capable person to do this job, but lacks confidence. She speaks English well, but she often says she cannot.

Ji-man:
I want him to be an organization director for the company. He has a proper leadership and a strong responsibility of his duty. It really fits this job, I think. During the interview, he is really confident and good at expressing himself, but his way of speaking is somewhat aggressive to me.

I interviewed four candidates.

Hwa-young
Hwa-young's objective position of our company is a tour guide. She is very outgoing person and also she has very active personality.
However, I was little bit inconvenienced by her of not having self-confident while speaking. However, her strong point was she have some guide experiences and fluent English speaking so I was very satisfied
with her. I'm positively considering to hire her.

Sang-yeol
Sang-yeol's objective position of our company is an organization director. He really likes to help people and he had very quite and calm attitude. Among the qualities critical for organization director success are leadership, self-confidence, motivation, decisiveness, flexibility, sound business judgment, and determination, but, however, I don't see any of these things to him. He said he have experience of leader at English club but I think this job position does not matches with him.

Eun-ji
Eun-ji's objective position of our company is a database manager. She speaks fluent English and she has very calm personality. However, honestly, I don't think she is really eager to be a database manager of our company. Also I was little bit inconvienced by her of not talikng too much so I had to talk a lot. She said she is very responsible for work and I think she is hardworker, but I think she does not fit in this job position.

Hwa-jeong
Hwa-jeong's objective position of our company is a newsletter manager. She has very outgoing and active personality and she was very fluent English speaker. Also she was full of self-confidence while speaking. I was very satisfied with her experiences in Chonnam Tribune. Also she is double majoring Communication so she has various knowledges of how to write and design articles. I think this job position perfectly fits with her.

Bee-ho
Bee-ho's objective position of our company is a tour guide. He has very active personality. Also he has special ability to deal with new people. I was very satisfied with his experience of volunteer in Gwangju City Hall and Kim Dae Jung Center. He sometimes stumbles while speaking and that really distracted my attention. However, considering of his abilities and experiences, I'm positively looking forward to hire him.

I met five people who has applied for my company.


Hwayoung
She wants to be a tour guide in company. She got high level of english ability and communication skill which means she is suitable to this job as a tour guide. So i'm going to hire her to my company. Even though she is not as active as i expected to tour guide's qualification she was covering that weak point with her good english skill and knowledge about attraciton around Cheolla area which is good and memorable place to foreigner to remember Kwangju as a good memory.

Sang-yeoul

Sang-yeoul wanted to work our company as a organization director.
But i am not sure whether he is eligible for this position.
Basically, OD(organization director) requires leadership and ability to recognize entire structure of organization.
But he doesn't seem to have strength to lead this big organization as much as expected. I don't think this position is available just keeping high enthusiasm. I think he 'd rather work for database manager by specializing his delicating personality.


En-ji
She wanted to work as a database manager in my company. But i'm doubting that she is suitable to this position. If she wants to be a database manager she has to get bright and outgoing personality.
But she doesn't seem like that active rather than she was too much calm.
It's going to happen to contact foreigner to let them know about our company's event, ceremony and things like that. Then we need a very good skill of talking and active movement to reach customer.


Bi-ho


He wanted to work in my company as an event manager.
I think there is no one who is more suitable to this job than him.
he got similar experience from his cirle in CNU. he was very flexible and he got big driving force.
Most important thing that i consider as i hire worker is how many experience candidates got. he is eligible for this positions in terms of history of working from this position.


Hwa-jung
She desired for taking seat of newsletter manager.
The thing i like was she worked in chonnam tribune as a reporter.
She was good at english as well.
Newsletter manager is not easy to do especially for the very first time of working in company.
but i don't think i'm going to worry about it because it's already done with her as a experince while she was working in previous workplace.
No doubt hiring her.

1. Hwayoung Jang
She applied for tour guide. During interview, she was sure about herself with strong confidence for the job. Good attitude and smily face was good but the motivation she suggested was too weak for the aim she was pursuing.

2. Hwajung Shin
She applied for newsletter manager. She had a perfect ex-experince for the job she was applying but I think she need to learn how to express more confidently.

3. Eunji Lee
She applied for database manager. I thought she was too polite as if we were doing real interview. Very good attitude but little bit calm. With her various activities before, she would do well with no mistake.

4. Sangryeol Park
He applied for Research and analyze manager. Calm and nice but he sometimes talks loud when something is urgent or not the thing he intended like me.

5. Beeho Jang
He applied for prgram manager. Very confident and nice but he stammers sometimes when he was asked of what he didn't think about seriously.

Jiman wanted to work as Organization Director.
I think leadership is the most important thing for this position.
And he showed me his leadership through his experiences. He has many experiences to manage people. Also, he can speak English fluently and he is very enthusiastic for this job.

Jung-se applied for a webmaster. He is good at the computer and has many computer certification. And he has some volunteer experiences in GIC as interpreter. So, he can speak English fluently. I think he is very out-going and active. So, he is very suitable for this job.

Song-eun wanted to be a bookeeper. She knew the role of this job well.
And, She taught many students science, math and English. So, I think that she can manage people and she is very organized person. while I talked with her, I could feel that she is very extrovert and responsible person.

Ji-hye also applied for a bookeeper. She was a good English speaker. And because she is majoring in Economics, she is good at mathematics and enjoy it. And she has some experiences related to this part. So, she said she is suitable for this position. I think she is very calm, but she has the great enthusiasm for this job.

I interviewed four people.

Songeun
Even though we had a mock interview, we should have been polite and careful for the interview. Unfortunately, she was little bit rude and not prepared for introduction about herself. However, I feel like she is considerate of others and tries to understand problems others have. Therefore, I recommend her to be a counselor rather than a bookkeeper.

Jihye
What I consider as a important thing for job-hunt is background. However, she has no related-background as a bookkeeper. Fortunately, even though she looked nervous during the interview, she spoke with confidence. Furthermore, I found out that she was meticulous through the interview she was well prepared for. That's why I think she is eligible as a bookkeeper who must have meticulousness.

Jiman
He had a good attitude during the interview as an interviewee. But, what I was unsatisfied with is that he has no experience as a director. As we know, work capability as a director depend what kind of background the candidate has. What’s worse, his speaking skill is not so good. A director must have a good speaking skill to control many workers. However, he showed his wills to work as a director. So, I recommend him to be the director.

Jungse.
He is interested in webmaster. He also was not prepared for the interview and little bit rude. He should have been polite as an interviewee. However, I think that he has a good speaking skill and English skill. In addition, I think he is good at being familiar with new people so that I recommend him to be a tour guide.

During the interview, even though he seems a bit aggressive, he seems to have good drive and strong leadership. Also he has some experiences as a leader.
Generally speaking, I think he is suitable for the position, Organization Director.

Jung-Sei(Webmaster)
I was a bit disappointed with his attitude, as he shook his body and joked sometimes. However, there is no better than him for the webmaster, as he has good skills and knowledge about computers. Also he has got volunteering experiences.

Song-Eun(Bookkeeper)
I could not find any drawbacks in terms of bookkeeper. During the interview, she was very confident and seemed to have strong ethics. Also she has got good knowledge and experiences about the position.

Ji-Hye(Bookkeeper)
Even though she was eager to be a bookkeeper, I could feel that she was not prepared very well for the position. If she prepare agian and try next time, I am sure to pick her up.

Bee -Ho
He want to be a tour guide in our company.
He has enough experience, especially in Kwangju. And when I ask something about good place, his answer was so faithful. He is full of confidence but he is apt to stutter. If he get rid of this thing, he will be a good tour guide and good speaker.


Sang- Yeol
The style of his speech was mild but is not good for job hunting. Also eye-contact is important thing when we talk but he didn't do that. He want to work in organization part, in my thought he should be look for another part of job. For example data base manager or bookkeeper. Because of his mild and kind character. Also he has some certificate about computer.

Hwa-Jung
She want to be a newsletter manager.
She has good experience and it makes thought that she is suitable person.
However when I listen her speech, I should concentrate on her monotonous voice.
If she raise her voice it will be a benefit for job hunting. Most important thing is capacity and she is perfect person to engagement.

Hwa- Young
It seems she has an outgoing and gregarious personality. However compared other applicant, she doesn't have enough experience to be a tour guide. So I think, it could be better that she apply for event planner or any other active work. Also, she has brilliant English ability so I'm convinced that she will be a good employee in our company.
